We wanted the hometown hero of the year to be the person that has worked the hardest to try to make the Bowling Green community a better place to live. Immediately, we thought of Caroline Ford. After choosing Caroline, we started planning out our feature video. We did research about Caroline and asked her about all of the things she has accomplished this year. We narrowed it down to the 4 most prominent things she has done this year such as working with her organization, the Young Artist Alliance, winning the Jefferson Award in April, hosting the online news segment, Peer to Peer, and winning the title of Miss Teen Kentucky County Fair. We decided to do an interview with her that we would put in our video to give our audience a bit more background about her accomplishments. Prior to the interview, we met up with Caroline to let her know that we had chosen her and to prepare her for the interview. On the day of the interview, we prepare the equipment that we were going to use in the interview. We used our STLP’s Cannon video camera, a tripod and microphones to better the quality of our interview. We asked Caroline to give us some pictures of her working with the Young Artist Alliance, and any other pictures that would fit the video. After exporting all of the pictures, videos, recording voiceovers, and editing, our project was completed.
