Kate Product: Imagine You Were There
The Political Life of Abraham Lincoln
By: Hope Rowlett and Meredith Woods
We, Hope Rowlett and Meredith Woods, created an animation video explaining what our historical character did as an important historical character.
The Process of our Video:
We first started out by finding a website. After searching for many of the animation websites that could be used, we decided on one we have already had experience with. This website is www.xtranormal.com
After we found a website, we began to make a list of the people we should do. This person had to have some relation between Kentucky. We considered Daniel Boone, Abraham Lincoln and many more, but in the end, we decided on Abraham Lincoln.
Once we had our historical character we began to plot ideas. We, Hope and Meredith, made a list of all his achievements. We decided he could be a good character because he was born in Kentucky.
We started putting the facts we found in the video. We also reread the rubric to make sure we thoroughly understood it. Once we had our important facts in the video, we began to add the extra entertainment to make it more interesting.
We, Hope and Meredith, then began to add emotions, camera angles, sound effects and music. This was a process that took time, but benefited our video for the good.
After we added our effects, we reviewed the video, and made all corrections, we pointed out all of our facts and made sure they were accurate.
Our process took about 3-4 weeks.
